The Watermill Inn & Brewing Co
The client requested additional restaurant space and the creation of a micro-brewery, as close to the bar as possible. Disruption to daily trade had to be kept to a minimum during construction.
Throught the years ADL has extended The Watermill bar and restaurant facilities to what you see today, which includes the micro-brewery.
Approval has also been granted, on land at the opposite side of the River Gowan, to build additional guest accommodation and re-site the micro-brewery.
It has been necessary to design separate vehicle and pedestrian bridges over the river. The accommodation block design uses traditional natural stone, render and slate but in a modern style.
