The Angel Inn
The client brief was to provide a modern, commercially viable extension and refurbishment to this Grade II Listed Building used as a hotel. The works had to be within in a fixed budget and be capable of completion within a restricted timescale.
The design concept was carefully thought out, and discussed with both the client and the local planning authority, retaining features that are important to the character of the building whilst maintaining the existing trading area, bedrooms and external gardden.
Recently an orangery has been added which enhances the modern interior but complements the external elevations.
